History Of CPL

Since the formation of the company in 1989, Cpl has grown from strength to strength, through a number of mergers and acquisitions over the 21 years. The following is a brief history of the major events:

2000	2010	Cpl Acquires ServiSource.
	2009	Cpl acquires Career Consultants, Techstaff International Limited, Nifast, Ecom Intercations Services Limited and Kenny Whelan & Associates.
	2008	Cpl rebrands MRS and launches as CPL Healthcare. CPL rebrands Multiflex and launches as Flexsource Solutions.
	2007	Cpl acquires Key6 Business Solutions, Northside Recruitment Services, Kate Cowhig International Recruitment and Richmond Recruitment Group.
	2006	CPL aquire Eastlink Recruitment in October 2006, a recognised leader in international recruitment.
	2006	The group launches it's newest division CPL HR in August, providing staffing solutions and R.P.O. consultancy.
	2006	CPL aquire NurseFindersUK in March 2006.
	2004	The group launches BroadReach International Executive Search and Selection Consultancy.
	2004	Multiflex enters Hotel & Catering market and launch Multiflex Hotel & Catering brand.
	2004	Cpl acquire Thornshaw Recruitment and Medical Personnel.
	2002	Cpl acquires the temporary contract business of Marlborough Group Ltd and Ann O'Brien Secretarial Ltd subsidiaries of Marlborough Group Ltd.
	2002	The Group enters the Healthcare sector with the set up of Medical Recruitment Specialists (MRS).
	2002	Cpl acquire Tech Skills Resources Ltd.
	2002	Cpl acquire Multiflex Human Resources.
	2000	Cpl acquires Careers Register.
1990	1999	The Group opens a Galway and Belfast office.
	1999	Cpl Resources plc formed and floated on DCM of the Irish Stock Exchange and AIM of the London Stock Exchange.
	1998	Cpl Sales was established as a division of Computer Placement.
	1998	Cpl Financial was established as a division of Computer Placement.
	1998	Cpl Telecoms was established as a division of Computer Placement.
	1997	The Group opens a Limerick office.
	1996	Cpl Solutions set up to focus on temporary and contract staff.
	1996	Cpl Engineering was established as a division of Computer Placement.
	1996	Paul Carroll, Anne Heratys' husband joined the Group as Business Development Director.
	1994	Computer Placement restructured its operations allowing recruiters to specialise in specific areas within the IT sector.
	1992	Anne Heraty acquired the shareholding of her partners to gain 100% ownership of the company.
1980	1989	Computer Placement Ltd (Cpl) established by Anne Heraty and Keith O'Malley.
